Integrative Pain Relief is located on Hilton Head Island and specializes in holistic health and wellness, with a more specific focus on pain relief, autoimmune and degenerative eye diseases

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), nearly twenty five percent of Americans experience physical pain that lasts more than one day.

I combine the time tested techniques of Acupuncture and myofascial release for effective and lasting pain relief. Acupuncture is a safe alternative to the use of medication, injections and surgery.

My practice addresses looking at the patient as a whole and addressing the physical and energetic aspects. Integrative Pain Relief of Hilton Head is committed to high quality service and satisfaction.

Acupuncture

One benefit to acupuncture is that it is a drug-free way to minimize pain. With drugs, people often develop a tolerance, or the need for an increased dosage to achieve the same required effect. However, this does not happen with acupuncture. Acupuncture is a healing therapy that effects the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of a person. It is truly a mind-body medicine.

Functional Medicine

Functional Medicine is really just a way of restoring better function to the body, mind and emotions. It is a scientific approach using lab testing to see how well the body is functioning through some of the major body systems. We will look at the Neuroendocrine system, which is examining the functioning of the HPA Axis (how your mind responds to stress), adrenal health, energy and hormones. We look at Gut health, which includes pathogens, infections, leaky gut and the microbiome.

Holistic eye treatment

Holistic Eye Treatment

Dr. Beth Schoon specializes in a holistic approach to degenerative eye diseases such as Macular Degeneration and other degenerative eye diseases through Micro Acupuncture. Micro Acupuncture is a specific treatment that focuses on the health of the eyes, and helps to improve circulation and blood flow to the eye.

Myofascial Release Therapy

Myofascial Release is a form of therapy that deals with facial restrictions in the body. The fascia is connective tissue that attaches to bones and stabilizes muscles and internal organs. This connective tissues can bind up, stagnate, and become imbalanced because of trauma, posture and everyday life.
